Arthritis Care

Arthritis Care exists to support people with arthritis. We are the UK’s largest organisation working with and for all people who have arthritis. We are a user led organisation which means people with arthritis are at the heart of our work – they form our membership, are involved in all of our activities and direct what we do. They also have a number of local support groups in the area. West Midlands Branches

ARMA is the umbrella body providing a collective voice for the arthritis and musculoskeletal community in the UK. It also has a local network in Birmingham who monitor local service provision and identify and campaign on local service issues.

Arthritis Research Campaign

The Arthritis Research Campaign (arc), founded in 1936, raises funds to promote medical research into the cause, treatment and cure of arthritic conditions; to educate medical students, doctors and allied healthcare professionals about arthritis; and provide information to the general public.

Birmingham Arthritis Resource Centre

Provides information and on-going support to anyone affected by arthritis. By educating people about their arthritis we aim to improve pain management and greater long term independence.

The Birmingham Disability Resource Centre (BDRC) is an organisation based in Yardley, Birmingham providing a range of independent support services to disabled people, their families and carers in Birmingham.

PADRAGS

PADRAGS are the Plymouth And District "Rheumatoid Arthritis Group" Support. They are a Support Network Group for the "National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society" This self help group provide support, information, social events and activities to those of us who live with Rheumatoid Arthritis, our partners and carers, living in the Plymouth, East Cornwall and West Devon Areas.
